The First Conference Of Young Applied Mathematicians in Leuca is organized by PhD students from University of Pavia, University of Vienna and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in the topics of Applied Mathematics. In particular, the conference targets Ms/PhD students and first years Postdocs interested in the fields of mathematical modelling, numerical analysis, machine learning and statistics.
The participants are strongly encouraged to present their research projects or activities. Our hope is that this event will give the opportunity to create new bonds and collaborations between young researchers from different universities.
The Conference Of Young Applied Mathematicians in Leuca would like to make its contribution to the support of women in the natural sciences. We will therefore do our best to have a quota of 50% female speakers and hereby encourage female researchers in particular to apply to hold a class or give a presentation.

Participation in the conference is free.
The EU COVID green pass will be required to all participants.
